ソニック・ソルーションズ株式会社（本社：東京都港区　代表取締役社長：照井公基）は本日、米国ソニック・ソルーションズ（カリフォルニア州ノバト、NASDAQ:SNIC）及びDTS, Inc. （本社：カリフォルニア州カラバサス、NASDAQ: DTSI）が、高い評価を得ているDTSのマルチチャンネルオーディオフォーマットをRoxioNow™のプレミアムエンターテイメントプラットフォームに搭載するという業務提携を発表しました。この業務提携によってBest BuyやBlockbusterなどのソニックのリテールパートナーは、メジャースタジオによるプレミアムムービー、前日に放送されたばかりの最新のテレビ番組、そしてその他の映画を臨場感のある5.1チャンネルサラウンドサウンドで視聴することが可能となります。

RoxioNowは、DTSでフォーマットされたオーディオをコンテンツエンコーディングのためのサプライチェーンに追加し、ネットワーク接続された機器のためのクラウドベースのデジタルロッカーシステム経由でDTS対応コンテンツを入手可能にします。DTSは臨場感のある5.1チャンネルサラウンドサウンドとステレオをさまざまな家庭向け機器及びポータブルデバイスのデジタルエンターテイメントプラットフォームに提供します。
